Membership

If you have an interest in history, and want to help in preserving the story of our community, the Monroeville Historical Society invites you to consider becoming a member.

Members contribute to the society’s work in any number of ways depending on their interests and the time they can volunteer to various preservation efforts. For example, all members are urged to attend the monthly meetings -- held at the Monroeville Public Library at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday.

In addition, for those who wish to take a more active role, volunteers are always needed to conduct tours of the historic houses during the summer, and to help with church weddings, and special events during the year. Other chores for which volunteers are  needed include: baking, gardening, and minor repair work.

The annual dues are: $7.00 per year for individual members; $10 for family memberships. Students are offered a special rate of only $3.00.

You may join now by clicking on the link below. Print and complete the application then mail it back to the provided address.
